My Dream. My Path. is bringing career learning and skill-development modules to the Reel Genius platform. A total of 20 lessons are being built across two modules.
In February 2026, the Reel Genius modules were shared and the following lesson topics were selected.
We ran a pilot showing two Reel Genius lessons: one from Module 1 (Skills & Mindset) on the topic of IKIGAI, and one from Module 2 (Careers Through Film) showcasing the Firefighter career.
Participants showed a clear preference for the skills-and-mindset approach. They found the careers-through-film format dramatized and unrealistic, and responded strongly to learning key skills and mindsets as portrayed in the IKIGAI lesson.
Based on the pilot, we recommend that all 20 lessons focus on career skills and mindsets. We are requesting 10 additional topics to replace the Module 2 film topics and complete the set.
